Milano’s Pizza — Restaurant in Waxahachie

Ordered a calzone because of a recommendation online and boy was that recommendation wrong. I can’t even think of a way to describe what I got. Best description would be like a used football that was stuffed with a gallon of marinara with a few small bits of something like a meat. This couldn’t be the correct way they normally serve this. I honestly believe they had a younger eager to leave staff that threw this together and punched the clock and headed out to the Friday night party somewhere. It was just horrible and non edible. Also order two additional pizzas and one was supposed to be a supreme and only had two meats , tons of sauce and burnt cheese. The other pizza was a cheese only and it was ok but also tons of sauce and over cooked cheese. I’m willing to try again only because I really believe it was a younger staff that just didn’t care. Unfortunately there’s a lot of that going on everywhere, but management shouldn’t be allowing...

Pretty good! Service was a bit on the slow side, and the cashier was a bit forgetful but hey-it's Sunday for goodness sake lol.

1st Dish: Chicken Parmigiana-Dish was excellent;probably the best or within my top 2 chicken parmigianas I've had yet. Tomato flavor, but so was everything else! Chicken was crispy and juicy.

2nd Dish: Buffalo Chicken Wings (Boneless)-Lot of hype surrounding these and I don't understand why unfortunately. Tbf, my fiance and I are not fans of dry seasonings and prefer wet sauce whenever possible. Nice, warm, and crispy but not much in the flavor dept sadly. We'll come back & try the bone-in ones to see if that's the difference.

3rd Dish: Grilled Chiken Sub-Another home run-fiance and I really liked it. Chicken was well-seasoned, and plenty of veggies inside. Bread was crispy.

Conclusion: We'll be back for sure! Great prices, good people, clean tables and floors, and a nice little restaurant interior. Can't ask...

After ordering 2 meals and a dessert thru GrubHub from Milano's we only received 1 meal and the dessert. I checked with Milano's while driver was still here and the young girl at Milano's initially sounded like it is a possibility that it was left behind but she spoke to mgr and he told her they sent both meals. Driver did not have another meal. I asked to speak with mgr and was told he was too busy. The food we did receive was not great anyway so no love lost there. But their customer service was absolutely terrible. They did not care that we did not receive our other meal. It was our 1st time ordering from there and it will be our last. Oh and we were told that we didn't order thru them we ordered thru Grubhub so it didn't matter that we would not longer be customers....
