Dragon's Den Gaming — Local services in Wayne Township

I had a terrible experience with the owner of the shop. He had two cards that I was looking to purchase, but was asking way over market price. I was willing to pay slightly above market price because they were right in front of me but he literally wanted 108 dollars plus tax for both cards which I ordered the same day for 90 dollars with shipping! Owner was very rude to me when I tried explaining my point and he told me to order them online, so I did and saved almost twenty dollars. The thing he doesn’t seem to understand is that I also had planned on buying other cards as well, along with any other future purchases that I wanted to keep local, but will now be taking my business elsewhere. No one needs to treat people the way he does! I also intend to let others know not to support this...

Despite being decently-sized and one of only two dedicated comic stores in SD, their selection of comics is terrible. This store is much more focused on Magic and similar games than it is on comics. They only carry about 100 titles new (Marvel and DC alone publish 150+ titles per month, not to mention all the independents), rarely have older but still recent months' issues to seek if you missed one or two, and have a back issue selection of maybe a couple thousand individual issues tops. Again, considering the thousands of monthly titles published in over 70 years of comics, this is a very weak selection. The owner and the employees are super helpful and friendly. They are always willing to answer any questions about anything and if they don't know, they'll find out or tell you who does know. They have boatloads of cool stuff and reasonable prices. Sure, not everyone who goes to d den is an amazing person but by and large, the atmosphere is just generally friendly and helpful and overall it's a really homey place. There's a lot of cool people to talk to, great communities and events for certain games, and it's a really fun place...
