I’m really disappointed by my first experience in this store. My family and I walked in Harbor Freight on my little brothers birthday to shop for some woodworking supplies (router and table, chisels, a drill and sander, a nice bench, etc) for my new shop. Admittedly, my brother was acting silly and had a bucket on his head but not disrupting any customers or damaging any products. He was just having fun. All of a sudden, either an employee or the manager aggressively approached us clearly angry and started cursing at my little brother. I don’t care who you are, what position in the company you hold, what kind of day you had, or what your natural temperament is like… you don’t work in a customer service position and curse at a child at your job. It makes you and the company look horrible. A simple calm request to remove the bucket and stop messing around would have sufficed or he could have tried to talk to one of the adults with my brother before going to yell at the youngest in the group. He didn’t even give a “warning” before he started cursing to talk about the situation. I hope whoever that employee was never treats another customer like that again. No one deserves that treatment going into a store for the first time. Again, I’m extremely disappointed. I will never walk in this store again, and they lost about a grand in sales...

I purchased the 9000 watt predator generator along with the wheel kit and the battery required to start it. The generator was $799, the wheel kit was $54 and the battery was $49 and of course there was tax. Total $964.92
I then go to BJ's warehouse and they have a complete comparable generator (Champion)that comes with the wheel kit, power cord, oil, and battery for $799. ( as well as a $50 instant rebate) so $749
I hate when that happens and you feel like your homework for making a purchase wasn't successful. I could just take it back, but if Harbor Freight was about that customer service life we could settle...

We made the trip and when we get there, they don’t have ANY in stock. We told him we called right before we left and was told by him that it was in stock. He begins to say they sold the last two just now (lies) because he then said “he checked the system when we called and said there was one in stock. Waste of time and bad customer service.
