Please notice my review it’s not toward the food. The food in this place is absolutely delicious! My husband and I often visit this place when in town visiting relatives. We always enjoyed visiting this place and always receive a great customer service. But last month I came to Jersey without my husband so I knew I needed to stop by and bring him some food. So I called in and identified myself and ordered food to go. I asked the lady who took my order to Please pack it well since I was traveling 5 hours away from home , and she did. On my way out, I asked for a cup with ice, I have some water in my car but want to have something cold for my trip. To My surprise a lady, I believe by the name of Wendy, and whom told me to be the manager told me that would cost me $1.50 I really was shock because after expending $70.00 and being a client that would brings my family for any celebrations to this place, for being a loyal out of towner client, wouldn’t be denied a cup with ice unless i paid $1.50 Her response was that she needed to cover the cost of the cup, even more to it, she says if you want, bring a container, I’ll give you the ice for free. It seems to me very insensitive on her part to denied a cup With ice to a loyal customer like us. This manager didn’t even take the time to consider otherwise, but stick with the idea she needs to charge me the cost of a cup, $1.50. How many cups can you buy at a dollar tree for $1.50? Very sad and...

Technically, I would prefer to give it a 3.5 stars because 3 is too low and 4 is too strong for my first impression.

Here's the reason. Keep in mind that this is very personal and subjective. I ordered the Panang Curry with chicken. The lunch dish came with soup (or salad) and a choice of either white or brown rice.

The dish was tasty, flavorful and the portion is generous. Service was prompt and pleasant. It is definitely a good place for business lunch, or lunch among colleagues. If that is the criteria, I can go with 4 stars.

However, I am rating it 3.5 because I seek a bit more (can't think of a suitable word) that would remind me of Thai food from Thailand. I know this is unfair for I'm not in Thailand but once you tasted the local stuff, the flavor just seared into my memory.

It took 45 minutes for our sushi to arrive, which is already excessive for a standard order and the place wasn’t even that busy. But what made it worse was the quality — the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail weren’t fresh cuts but shredded or puréed into a mushy mix that tasted more like imitation fish than the real thing. Everything had a strange texture and did not taste good. It just didn’t taste like real sushi. Definitely not what I expected or hoped for.

Editing my review to respond back to their below note. I’ve ordered the same sushi rolls my whole life and it has nothing to do with the type of fish I ordered or whether or not crunch is on top… sorry but these just tasted totally off from previous times I’ve dined here and...
