Shouldnât even get one star. Bought a used truck from Wheeler Chevrolet first part of December. The day I test drove the vehicle I waited over 4 hours to just get in the finance department supposedly the regular finance guy wasnât there so I had to come back the next day. Shouldnât have even came back but I did. On day 2 I got in and out in less then 45 mins. The problem I ran into is supposedly the truck had been thru the shop and serviced by them. And even said they had done all the services on the truck at Wheeler. I drive the truck home and I had to go back to work after that for 10 days so it was parked. Got back home and drove it and the motor locks up and leaves me on the side of the road with 400 miles on the truck since I bought it and I live an hour and thirty mins from the dealership so most of those miles was driving it home. Called the salesman Tim and I could tell real quick he got his sale he didnât care and just kept giving me the run around about it. Wouldnât even tow it back to them so they could check it out I would have to take care of getting it back up to them. Took it to the local dealership come to find out it had not been serviced and it had been awhile since it had been serviced and the oil was very dirty. Local dealership said cause was lack of maintenance. Called Tim and same thing got the run around again and wouldnât do anything. Even asked for the Gm several times apparently he takes a very long vacation and never got ahold of him bc I was told he wasnât ever there. On top of that the truck was from a buddy of the Gmâs no wonder I canât get him on the phone. The salesman first response was when I told him what was going on was it worked fine when we was using it and that he had personally used the truck also. Wouldnât buy anything from them ever again and definitely wonât send anyone to them. Iâve worked at a farm machinary dealership my whole life and know if we ever treated a customer like this or didnât try to do something to fix the situation after promising it had been thru the shop you wouldnât have a job. The vehicle was listed on their website as 20% off MSRP, the best I could find for a brand new Impala. At the dealership itself I was greeted warmly at the front desk and helped out immediately. After test driving many of the 2016-2018 used and new vehicles on the lot I was set on my original choice of the 2018 Impala. As a first time new car buyer I was a little nervous about making such a large purchase, however, I was direct and honest about my finances and was impressed to have that honesty returned by their financing specialist Quinton.
