Canyons Sports Grill — Restaurant in Hinton

Cannot give you an honest review on the food being we didn't have the time to wait that long , with that said I can review the restaurant and staff.

The seating area and bar appeared to be clean. And from what we saw of the staff they seemed friendly but not at all knowledgeable or able to remember what you had ordered with just our drinks ( drinks were completely wrong ).

We were there for a concert and showed up at the restaurant approximately an hour and a half before the concert beginning and after an hour an still no food I told the server that we we pay for the incorrect drinks we received and be on our way.

The manager was called to a table next to our for a customers complaint. The manager came out in a cooking apron so we knew at this point they were way under staffed. He explained to them about their situation and apologized for inconvenience.

We completely understand being short staffed but we should have been informed about that before being seated and waiting so long that it took away the opportunity to grab a bite somewhere else before the concert within their casino.

Not just my wife and I and several others trying to get a meal there but the band members of the singers, they too had talso left without the opportunity to have a meal prior to the show.

Had breakfast there this morning. Service was soooo slow. If you’re understaffed don’t let everyone in. Finally after being there almost 2 hours we gave someone $20 for our $13 bill and she said she would give it to our waitress to bring back our change. After another 15 minutes still no change. When I was finally able to speak to our waitress I was told she misunderstood and kept the change. If I wanted my change I would have to wait for someone with a cash box out in the Casino to come in and give it back. We left. Worst experience ever in any restaurant we have...

Service is slow we waited about 15 min to be sat and the restaurant was empty. They had only one waitress, she was also the bartender but our waitress was great. The food was good, still we didnt get the service needed. Its disappointing a nice place, great potential but terrible management. One worker running the whole front house unbelievable very inconsiderate of their workers. With that said, I can't recommend this place until something changes.
