We returned some unused items this winter (maybe 2 months ago) the same day as purchase. They would only offer store credit. I attempted to cash in that store credit today and was told that it was no good (30 day lifespan). What a terrible store policy - I'm done paying for your overpriced goods just for the convenience and local support. Thanks for robbing us of $90.00. Your store must need the money more than my family.

It has left a terrible taste in my mouth. I don't know if it's posted anywhere in store or not. It very well could be, but it should have been verbally told to me when it was issued. Regardless, I won't be back to check it out. I'll make the drive to Lowes and Home Depot from here on out, or just use Amazon. Local businesses wonder why they're losing business to the giants? They have almost everything a homeowner needs but I have had too many experiences with clerks unable to run the cash register. Today's trip will be my last to this franchise. I just joined the Ace Rewards program 9 days ago. Today's trip was to use the $5 coupon, good until December 31, 2021, just emailed to me. The clerk at first scanned the rewards card multiple times, citing it wasn't working correctly today. She got it right after a few tries, then when scanning the coupon wasn't working, her answer that the $5 wasn't being deducted is that it is expired. IT IS NOT EXPIRED AND HAD NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN REDEEMED. We shop here all the time....seriously, at least once a week and if we are doing a home project I may be there 4 times in a day! 😁 They have just about anything you could want for electrical, plumbing, painting, and garden projects, and lots more! I even get my canning supplies here. The staff is friendly and if you can't find something they will walk you right to it, or let you know they don't have it and who might. This is a great small business to support in our area. There new Outdoor and Marine store just opened across the street, but I haven't made it there yet.
