I'm sick and tired of people giving poor reviews to place because they are afraid and can't deal with someplace that allows actual freedom and choice over FEAR!

Seriously, folks...if the sight of someone not in a mask scares you that much, go to literally 1000 other places that have fallen in line throughout the area, but for those of us who appreciate the few places that allow human interaction the way it was intended -- leave people the HELL alone!

Part of the attraction of the "small town business" is that the owner gets to decide how the run their business. If you want the corporate kool-aid guzzling, submit to authority, land of government control and propaganda then might I suggest Schnucks, Dierbergs, or Wal-Mart/Sam's Club and Costco. I hear they 100% bought in on surrendering their freedoms and the freedoms of their customers.

For the rest of us, leave places that still believe in freedom alone -- there are so few of them left...or, is it not enough for you to be so miserable, masked up, world of FEAR? Do you need to make sure everyone else is miserable just like you? How virtuous of...

At Goodmans Flavors and Extracts we appreciate small businesses and Freddies will not let you down!! What a great looking store that is clean and with a smile and hello at the front door you feel appreciated when you first walk in.

This was the case for me this past week as i visited the store and Larry Bononi took the time our of his busy morning to allow me to present our line of 26 items.

I came from Belleville, IL to meet some friends and try the "Meatloaf Monday" Lunch Special that came with real mashed potatoes, green beans flavored with ham, a fresh roll and cake for dessert. Portions were so big it made 2 meals. Even bought extra carryout meals to take back to others back in Belleville. Spent $100 buying some meats from their old fashioned butcher shop (ground chuck, ham steak and their own hot dogs). Lots of specialty items in the store, as well as staples.
