Update: I have spoken to Maureen and I will get a credit, so I will be checking back to see if the recipe has gone back to normal before I make the trip, but I feel good knowing that they aren't messing with perfection. Thanks AofE!!! :-)

I was such a fan of this place. I am a soup fanatic, and recently I went in and spent a little under $70 on soup and was unpleasantly surprised that it tasted horrible and when I tried to reach out to the owner via Facebook discreetly, I never received a response. My inquiry was just to ask if the recipe for the Crab Bisque had changed, so I could decide if I wanted to continue to purchase this particular variety of their soup. That was Friday, and this is Monday and I have heard nothing. I once wrote a review about how impressed I was with the soup, that was over 2 years ago and I consistently drive across town in order to purchase the soup and sometimes other items. There food is very good and our guests were going on and on about how great everything tasted. My issue was that we got our food at closing on Saturday and there was no one to help with a few issues. We didn’t get our sauce that went with the chicken and there were no heating instructions for one of the dishes. We also determined a couple items needs to be taken out of the service trays and heated on a sheet pan or the breading would have been mushy and not crisp. Then a couple things needs to be put under the broiler to brown on top or they would’ve had a strange unappealing look. Luckily we cook and could make adjustments. I left a message on their voicemail Saturday hoping someone checked in case of an emergency but no one called Saturday nor Monday when they opened. Wasn't familiar with this company until they catered some lunches at my work. Definitely one of the best boxed (bagged?) lunches I've ever tasted. The poor boy sandwich is great. I haven't finished eating it yet because I had to stop and write this review before eating another bite. I saw the generous portion of fruit which was colorful and inviting. And I'm not sure what kind of bakery treat is in this bag here but it looks good and I'm looking forward to eating it. There's a review for your - lunch so good I had to spread the word before cleaning my plate. Five stars.

Update: the bakery item was some kind of lemon or pineapple coconut square and I had to come back and say it was both surprising...
