Webster Groves Swimming Pool — Local services in Webster Groves

The pool itself is nice, but there aren’t nearly enough chairs for how many people are here. There’s plenty of open deck space with no loungers, leaving tons of people just wandering around looking for somewhere to sit. Also the chairs they do have are for sitting, not for laying down, which is less than ideal for a pool. I’m honestly shocked at how few proper sun beds they have. It seems all the money on the renovation went to other things and they ran out of money for proper chairs. In previous years there were plenty of loungers and this was never an issue.

If you love really loud music put your money down and come on in. If you are after the feel that you are at a concert this is your pool. If you don’t want to have a conversation with anyone you came with or if you are not at all interested in reading a book in peace you will really enjoy this pool. If you have a child in the pool and just maybe think you should be able to hear them, this place is probably not for you.This facility is run by teenagers so the volume stays at high levels, despite requests to be reasonable. Everyone I surveyed stated the music should be in the background and NOT blaring at high levels. We are taxpayers and should be listened to. Turn it down and leave it...

I absolutely love the facilities and staff, couldn't say a negative thing about them. What I'm not understanding is why I could go to big surf for 10 dollars more per person? The one day pass is ridiculous. I came an hour before closing and paid full price. The facility was pushing everyone out of the water within 45 minutes of my arrival.
