STAY AWAY I brought some nice linen napkins in to be embroidered and they ruined them and then took no accountability for it. I asked for a small pattern to be centered on the edge of the napkins and, without sending me a proof to approve, they proceeded to destroy 16 napkins. The pattern was huge and in the completely wrong location. When I reached out to the owner, the suggested fix was to do it correctly on the other side of the napkin. I am still dumbfounded by this even being a suggestion. The owner then went on to blame me for it being wrong - which makes literally no sense. He wrote out exactly what I wanted and then didn't communicate that to the embroiderer. The other part, which I didn't know until my mom looked at them, is that it wasn't even real embroidery. It was some like.. fast cheap knock off of embroidery. After far too many e-mails and phone calls, they eventually reimbursed me for the embroidery, but I'm still stuck with these napkins. My personal opinion is that they should replace the napkins that their negligence and poor communication destroyed. If they had a bunch of t-shirts that they had provided and it got screen printed incorrectly, they wouldn't be passing that cost onto the customer, they would be eating it. I ended up sending a friend to pick them up for me because I was (and am still) too angry with the way I was treated by the owner to be even remotely close to kind towards him, and he was a total jerk to her too. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau, which they ignored. Had I not moved out of state, I would have moved forward with bringing them to small...
Read moreI was really impressed by the customer service here. I went because I saw online that they did in-shop printing in as little as 15 to 30 minutes and I needed a t-shirt rush printed for a gift. Unfortunately, they no longer offer this service, which was the only negative of my experience there. They were incredibly helpful in getting my design properly edited and higher resolution, and they went out of their way to get the design printed and dropped off at the store. In less than 2 hours, the t-shirt was printed and ready to be gifted. The shirt felt very high quality, not the standard thick cotton that feels heavy on your skin. The design was really well inked onto the shirt, the lines and the font for the molecules were very small, but it was not distorted or blurry in any each.
Initially I was trying to get this printed at a shop closer to me (Baked Ts), but after 3 days of trying to get in contact with them via email, phone calls, and even a physical stop at the store I was running out of time and hope to get this done. The contrast in customer service between the two shops was astounding, and I cannot recommend The Mash Pit enough for their effort, support, and...
Read moreI heard great things about this shop. I was sadly disappointed. Went to order 3 t shirts on a Friday… asking for pickup on the following Friday….. ok…. That was not a problem. I was not told they were closed m-f of that week. Got a call on sat, shirts are done. Also, they needed additional info to complete the shirts and it would only take 2 min when I arrived to complete order. I was out of town. I was told I had to get them by Sunday….bc entire shop closed the next week. We got back on Sunday, left a family function to pick up at 11… clarified info… at 11:30 still waiting. The young lady they left alone at shop had issues with completing job. I couldn’t wait. Asked for refund, that was laughable. Just had to leave… left without shirts or refund.
One more thing…. Extremely pricey… for not great...
