I first happened upon this place as I was meandering northward through the center of Florida about a year ago. It was drizzly and oppressively hot and I needed a diversion so there I was. It was oppressively hotter inside but fans, more fans, and the distraction of all the lovely and interesting things to look at and ponder mostly made me forget about the overbearing heat. There are ~20 vendors in all that occupy various sized spaces around the building on the main floor and then on the air-conditioned lower floor (yes! Air-conditioned!!). The vendors are chosen for what types of things they sell and by how well they’ll fit in with the surrounding vendors. It would seem that once you secure a spot there, you hold onto it because there is very little vendor turnover and lots of inventory turnover! A lovely young woman called Jenna is there most days to take your dollars in exchange for the things you suddenly can’t imagine being without (and there’s always something). I had the pleasure of walking in almost exactly a year later, this time heading south through the middle of Florida but the weather was about the same, if not more rainy this time. I was once again impressed at how thoughtfully organized and curated the vendors are and how polished this place is…so unexpected in a wee rather rural town like Webster and so refreshing. If you find yourself in Webster on a Monday, you’ll be delighted to wander through here and all the other thrift and antique stores in town that are open because no other antique stores are usually open on Monday. Awesome Antiques store located in Webster, Florida. The store employee was super-friendly and helpful. She invited us to other local events that will be hosted at the store in the near future. This store is filled with all kinds of unique collectibles and antiques. They also offer a lot of holiday decorations and other odds and ends. Each booth is well-organized and grouped by theme.
