We were visiting the Cape for a few days recently and decided to visit several gift shops before heading home. Of the four gift shops we visited on this one day, Salty Vibes Outdoor in the Wellfleet area was by far the nicest shop. It was also the largest shop of the four we visited, and had the largest selection and variety of quality seasonal clothing. We thought the prices here were in line with what we've seen elsewhere in this area, and maybe less on some items. They also had a large selection of outdoor chairs, pool floats, and inflatables. The owners, Cory and Katherine, were friendly and very helpful during our shopping visit. If you're in the area, take a few minutes to stop in and check it out. Thanks...
   Read moreBought a beach chair for $75 and it fell apart after 3 beach trips. The product was absolute junk. Brought it back and the owner said, too bad. Nothing he could do. An annual stop on the Cape no longer. We can find tee shirt and other miscellaneous beach stuff somewhere else on route 6.....I actually had my credit card statement from the year before. The chair still had tags and scan tags on it. You didn't even have the decency to look at the chair before you said no. I was not looking for a full refund, but something would have been nice.    Read moreTerrible customer service. Bought a $60 beach umbrella and opened it on the beach for the first time to discover the pole was crushed and 2 of the supports were bent. Brought it back the next day with my receipt and was called a liar by the manager who insisted he didn't sell a damaged product. Went over to the rack with the same umbrellas to prove that that brand had many other umbrellas with crushed poles at which point the owner reluctantly agreed to an exchange and then he stormed off rudely. I have never encountered such awful...
