Wenatchee Valley College — Local services in Wenatchee

I’ve attended multiple colleges, most out of state from FL where I moved from. This college is a mess. Good luck getting through financial aid without someone messing it up. Many classes run at the same time which prolongs the course and makes it difficult to meet a full schedule. The professors constantly complain that the trimesters are too short to teach the material. The majority of my professors were also poor educators. The parking fee is ridiculous and should be included in tuition. Installing HONK systems basically to rape the wallets of students and generate revenue since they can’t seem to do that on their own effectively. Also read the NCW Life article about WVC. I'm leaving this college as a student, not due to any professors, or the wonderful staff on the first floor of Wenatchi hall, but most of the Deans, and other 3rd floor administrative staff members. It wasn't til I was ignored by them as a staff member and constantly nagged or annoyed by the ignorance of...mostly Deans and other people in positions of higher power that I decided that this place had to go. Loved studying here during high school as a Running Start student. Buildings are a bit old, but all of the instructors I had while earning my two-year direct transfer degree were engaged and interesting to listen to. Great place to earn some education at the local level. Transfers well to four-year...
