Well, I didn't order a sub and maybe that was the issue. What I ordered instead was a chicken caesar salad, big mistake. First off, when I pay $15 for a salad, I am expecting something grand. What I got was a small amount of lettuce (at least they could have gotten this right), and what I refer to as preformed blubber chicken, chicken that is made up of all sorts of parts of the chicken, then smooshed back together with a blubbery consistency. Unfortunately what they didn't give me in romaine, they gave me in chicken, and rock hard croutons, with a little bit or parmesan. But, the dressing was good. If Wendy's fast food restaurant can give you a chicken salad for nearly half the price, with a real portion of chicken breast, I expect more from a restaurant like this. My daughter ordered a chicken sub, and said that it didn't have much flavor. I know businesses are struggling today, as well as the paying public, but if they want to remain in business, they are going to have to try a little harder, and give you...
Read moreHaven't been here in years but was craving a good sandwich and it was too late to get a San Francisco Sourdough sandwich which I guess I'm used to (wish they were open later than 3!). Ordered turkey bacon avocado with extra meat for $2 (gotta have some to give to the pup :) and extra avocado for $1. Was a regular amount of turkey and barely any avocado and although I didnt order extra bacon, I would still expect more than one slice. Very disappointed, I would have expected avocados to be sliding off the sandwich as I ate it. Also grabbed a few of their desserts and didn't care for them. You can tell they are homemade and they are trying to be unique but the snickers cake's caramel layer had crystalized and was inedable. Found the pumpkin loaf to be overspiced. Super bummed, really wanted to like it! The guys working were very friendly and informative however, I'm sure if I'd gone back and voiced my concerns about the sandwich they would have remade it. Will probably try them again but...
Read moreThis place has been my go to for years. I have never been unimpressed with the quality of their food until today and it makes me quite sad. I understand prices are high but when I’m paying 12 dollars for a bagel sandwich I don’t expect to see half the toppings were missing and that they skimped out on all of the other toppings. I ordered a bagel sandwich with avocado, sprouts, and peppers, ALL of which you must pay extra for. I received none of those except a sprinkle of sprouts. My boyfriend ordered a turkey provolone with the same toppings I had. He received his sandwich with a tiny spread of avocado which is better than mine but still not acceptable, and a few peppers. He also didn’t even get provolone. I mean it’s in the name, come on. Over all I was very disappointed I suppose I will continue going to San Francisco sourdough where I always expect a good...
