Not typically the type to leave reviews unless I have an outstanding or extremely awful experience. This was my sons second year having his bday party here. The first time was great, only complaint was the person who signs for pizza did not tip and the delivery driver asked me “no tip?” and unfortunately I did not have cash and payment was not from my card so there was nothing I could do which was super awkward but I let that go. This year we bought the exact same party package that clearly states on WEBSITE and in RECEIPT that food (pizza) is included in the package we bought which costs a bit extra than the other package that is listed without food as an option. After an hour or so I went to the front to ask when pizza would arrive they told me they no longer supply food. I pulled up the website as well as email and receipt confirming that food was included I was told that it states food as in concession food that we would have to purchase on our own. When I questioned why this wasn’t communicated clearly and why website and receipt mention pizza I wasn’t given any clear answer. So on top of paying 330$ for a party package including food I spent an additional 110$ for pizza as everyone was expecting pizza and I did not want them to be disappointed. The “party organizer or helper” did not come in once to ask if anything additional was needed after delivering drinks. We did not have enough plates for food and no additional plates for cake. No forks were given. I had people asking me for things and any time I went to the front to try to get those things (plates, forks, cake cutter, lighter for candles) we were told they were unsure of where they were and if they even had any. My son is 10 and each year he has had a party somewhere and this year has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had. At one point I even almost cried because of how stressful the whole ordeal has been. I do NOT recommend coming here for your party. If your child is interested in ice skating for their birthday St. Peter’s rec has MUCH better options available and is where we will be going in the future. Will attach photos of receipt and website so any questioning this can clearly see that food (pizza) WAS listed as being...
Read moreThe Wentzville Ice Area is one of our community's Best Asset. This was proven on January 4, when the Beginner's Skating Class started with over 75 students. Two of those students were my grandchildren. The City wasn't prepared for such a large outcome., however they did split out the children into more classes, so each child would receive more hands on training, which was exactly needed. The skating rink is nice and the children always have a Blast... Isn't that precisely, what it's all about "The Children" ?? Of Course... We want our Children & Grandchildren to learn new things, like ice skating and we want them to enjoy it. They will learn patience, which is key! They must work hard to learn how to ice skate, but all of their hard work will pay off. As they learn how to balance on their skates, they learn to skate. Most of all, their Confidence will be boosted and that is ALWAYS IMPORTANT!!! I am very pleased with this program & Ice Rink in our community in...
Read moreWe bought my son a new stick that cost well over $350. It was 3 months old before we had a game here at this rink and it broke. A stick we were still making payments on bc of our current financial situation. Due to the rink’s negligence of fixing these wide gaps in their boards, my sons blade got caught in between this gap and snapped in half during a game. Obviously the managerial staff here could care less so we left with my son being upset that his new stick was not gonna be replaced by us due to cost. This is super disappointing. This should be under the responsibility of the rink and whomever is in charge bc I’ve heard many other parents complain about that gap which is being ignored by staff. There are ways to get this fixed even if they cant even replace a kids hockey stick that broke due to their messed up boards. Just be aware if you have to decide to play or practice here versus going elsewhere. This is definitely not the...
