This used to be a favorite and I don’t know what’s changed but it’s not the same place we once loved. We don’t live nearby so our opportunities to dine here are infrequent- 3-5 times a year. Today is a birthday celebration so we decided to work it in on our way back home. Such a disappointment. When we arrived just after 6pm there was a noticeable change from our previous visits- there was not only no wait, but there were only 3 tables seated. By 7 pm they were about half full. Even so, the servers were not very attentive. We had to ask for everything we needed and heard the patrons around us doing the same. And I’m speaking of items that normally come to the table, not special requests. We had vegetable spring rolls, potstickers, and cucumber salad for appetizers. Our main dishes were Spicy Noodles with chicken and shrimp, and Phad See Yu with chicken. They were cooked to order and very good. We ordered a side of sticky rice but it didn’t arrive with our food. When asked, the server quickly brought it to our table - it was a tiny bowl with about a handful of rice…in a plastic bag😂. Overall, the food was good enough, service not so much. Our experiences in the past have been great and we hope they figure out what’s amiss. Looking at reviews from the past two months, it looks like we aren’t the only ones who’ve had a less than dining experience. Every place can have an off night…but there seems to be a pattern here. We hope they’re able to pull themselves out of it because they’ve been really excellent...

I called a few times and no one picked up. My wife called and finally got through to someone. We ordered a chicken pad thai and the Mussaman Curry with tofu for puck up/to-go. They took my order and informed me that it would be approximately 40 minutes because they were busy, which I understand and appreciate the honesty. Upon arrival, the indoor dining room seemed small, quaint, clean, and nicely decorated. There were only a few parties in it, so it was not crowded. The staff greeted me promptly and seemed to be in a rush to get orders together.

The staff were all wearing masks (at least the ones I saw), so if that is something that is important to you, just know that they seem to be adhering to CDC Guidelines, or at least trying to.

I was in and out in a few quick minutes and my food tasted great. I especially liked the curry, but I felt a good measure of a Thai food place is to try thier pad thai. I may get that next time. Most of thier food can be made gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian if thats important to you. My 1 1/2 year old liked the curry as well. I was excited to see this place open in Wentzville and will definitely...

First time and last time.

They advertise they close at 9pm. We arrived at 8:37pm and were told they stopped seating at 8:35pm. The hostesses did not want to seat us.

My son wanted pad thai so we tried this for the first time. We ordered the pad Thai to-go instead of being sat just so I could get my 8 year old pad thai. If we were sat I would have ordered an appetizer and drinks for myself which would have been a good sized bill and tip for 2 dinners. The staff all cleaned while we waited for our to-go order well before close.

I’ve worked in restaurants so I understand wanting to close the kitchen but don’t advertise your hours as a different time.

So we left with 1 order of pad Thai to-go and instead we ordered from Sakura Hibachi down the road and spent $150 on food and drinks.

We did eat the pad thai and it was marginal. We weren’t asked about spice level so I honestly forgot to specify. But because there was ZERO spice, the pad thai was too sweet. I wouldn’t order this again even if I ever decided for some crazy reason to even try to eat here again.

The staff and ownership is obviously more concerned about closing than...

Absolutely delicious! We've been twice now and loved our meals both times. Be sure to clarify which spiciness you like as they switched a couple of our parties plates spiciness level. Even with that, the food is fresh and so good. Another thing I like to commend the staff on is their attention to detail. Our party could not get over them fine-tuning and empty table, preparing it for the next guests. There was a single smudge on one of the glasses and from across the room one of the servers noticed it and swapped it out with a fresh glass. There are fresh flowers on every table and the room is decorated so nicely. One thing we didn't care for, as we were sitting right next to the kitchen was that the door was open and it was quite noisy. It didn't distract from The experience too much but we did notice it and had to talk over the sound. Another thing is the door to enter is not very inviting, we stood outside debating whether it was the correct or not before opening it. I definitely recommend anyone who likes Thai food or is looking to experience something new! I can't wait to go back, I only wish I lived closer.

Where to start…the service here was very impressive. My wife ordered pineapple fried rice with medium spicy (2 stars) and it was pretty spicy for her. In fact, they noticed it was too spicy and made her a brand new one with no spice. These people are so incredibly nice. They check on you multiple times but not in an annoying sense. I got the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and no spice. It was very good and the portions are very generous. My son got pad see ew with chicken and 2 spice and he loved it. You will not be let down eating here or getting it to go. This is such a friendly establishment and very clean. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I rarely give 5 stars because I’m a stickler and have high expectations for places at this price range. The photos below are my son and wife’s food. The one on the right is the pineapple fried rice and the left is the pad see ew. We will for sure be back! Thank you for a great experience!

Thai Kitchen Restaurant in Wentzville MO. Super friendly server but did not know ingredients of any of the foods or sauces. I believe the point of a "hot pot" is to have a hot soup base and be able to dip and cook your seafood as you eat. This hot pot had all ingredients already in it, the flame burned out quick, and the seafood was over done since it was in the pot the whole time, especially the muscles and shrimp. It also had imitation crab meat, no thanks. The other food was very good and came out quicky. For a fairly expensive menu price, I expected to food to be higher quality and more authentic. All sauces contain sugar. Next time, I will call around to Thai places and if I can barely understand their English, I'll choose that over Thai Kitchen.
