This used to be a favorite and I don’t know what’s changed but it’s not the same place we once loved. We don’t live nearby so our opportunities to dine here are infrequent- 3-5 times a year. Today is a birthday celebration so we decided to work it in on our way back home. Such a disappointment. When we arrived just after 6pm there was a noticeable change from our previous visits- there was not only no wait, but there were only 3 tables seated. By 7 pm they were about half full. Even so, the servers were not very attentive. We had to ask for everything we needed and heard the patrons around us doing the same. And I’m speaking of items that normally come to the table, not special requests. We had vegetable spring rolls, potstickers, and cucumber salad for appetizers. Our main dishes were Spicy Noodles with chicken and shrimp, and Phad See Yu with chicken. They were cooked to order and very good. We ordered a side of sticky rice but it didn’t arrive with our food. When asked, the server quickly brought it to our table - it was a tiny bowl with about a handful of rice…in a plastic bag😂. Overall, the food was good enough, service not so much. Our experiences in the past have been great and we hope they figure out what’s amiss. Looking at reviews from the past two months, it looks like we aren’t the only ones who’ve had a less than dining experience. Every place can have an off night…but there seems to be a pattern here. We hope they’re able to pull themselves out of it because they’ve been really excellent...
Read moreI called a few times and no one picked up. My wife called and finally got through to someone. We ordered a chicken pad thai and the Mussaman Curry with tofu for puck up/to-go. They took my order and informed me that it would be approximately 40 minutes because they were busy, which I understand and appreciate the honesty. Upon arrival, the indoor dining room seemed small, quaint, clean, and nicely decorated. There were only a few parties in it, so it was not crowded. The staff greeted me promptly and seemed to be in a rush to get orders together.
The staff were all wearing masks (at least the ones I saw), so if that is something that is important to you, just know that they seem to be adhering to CDC Guidelines, or at least trying to.
I was in and out in a few quick minutes and my food tasted great. I especially liked the curry, but I felt a good measure of a Thai food place is to try thier pad thai. I may get that next time. Most of thier food can be made gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian if thats important to you. My 1 1/2 year old liked the curry as well. I was excited to see this place open in Wentzville and will definitely...

They advertise they close at 9pm. We arrived at 8:37pm and were told they stopped seating at 8:35pm. The hostesses did not want to seat us.
My son wanted pad thai so we tried this for the first time. We ordered the pad Thai to-go instead of being sat just so I could get my 8 year old pad thai. If we were sat I would have ordered an appetizer and drinks for myself which would have been a good sized bill and tip for 2 dinners. The staff all cleaned while we waited for our to-go order well before close.
I’ve worked in restaurants so I understand wanting to close the kitchen but don’t advertise your hours as a different time.
So we left with 1 order of pad Thai to-go and instead we ordered from Sakura Hibachi down the road and spent $150 on food and drinks.
We did eat the pad thai and it was marginal. We weren’t asked about spice level so I honestly forgot to specify. But because there was ZERO spice, the pad thai was too sweet. I wouldn’t order this again even if I ever decided for some crazy reason to even try to eat here again.
The staff and ownership is obviously more concerned about closing than...
