Lowreys Streetside Pub — Restaurant in Wentzville

I used to stop by here bc it’s right up the street from my house but never again. I came in a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and the guy behind the bar, heavy set, long beard, glasses, rubbed us so wrong. When we initially came in I complimented his beard even and he seemed cool then. Then he was rushing us to take our shots telling us they are better cold. He seemed irritated that we weren’t rushing to down the shots he just poured a few minutes ago. We were in a deep convo and had planned on drinking there for a few hours. So we weren’t in a rush to get trashed. Then his entire attitude changed like a light switch. He was visibly aggravated, rude, ignored us, kept screaming talking to someone named Calvin everytime we wanted his attention, was dismissive af and rolling his eyes, and the mf even tossed the card and pen to us bc we decided to go to a different bar since his energy was so negative all of a sudden. It was so weird and so uncomfortable. He even held an entire convo w a guy while we waited for him to swipe the card so we could leave. I never met anyone rude here u til this night.
