Ive shopped at this location a few times before and never had issues with in store purchases. They have beautiful prints. However I had the opposite when it came to a custom order. I requested 12 custom shirts with prints that I sent them. I went in and finalized sizes and shirt color with Emily. She said shirts would be done in a few days but they werent. Okay not a problem since I didn't mind waiting that day. They didn't have the shirt color or size that I had requested even though emily said they had them so again I said thats okay. I'll just go and purchase shirts to press on my own. I ended up getting 5 shirts made by them but 7 were not. Mind you I had already paid for all 12 shirts since Emily said they wouldn't start on my order unless I paid first. Emily did not want to refund me for the 7 shirts because "the owner was not there and she wasnt going to answer". Emily was extremely rude and tried rushing me to leave since they were near closing and she had to go. When the owner did answer and agreed to refund me for the 7 shirts I only got $7 back. That's it. When i questioned $7 for 7 shirts the lady couldnt give me a straight answer and said "thats what they told me to refund you". I could tell that even she seemed a bit confused by that. I asked if she could break down the prices for me but she couldn't. The taxes alone were over $10 yet they only gave $7 back? I was very upset but decided to leave and return the following day to speak with the owner. But after much thought I'm choosing to move on and leave it in God's hands. Maybe they needed the money more than I did. I am writing this review to just make others aware to please always be cautious when ordering...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Experience My experience with Weslaco’s V&M Print Shop was extremely frustrating from start to finish. The process felt overly simplified—you’re expected to create your own t-shirt design on Canva, upload it, and that’s essentially the full extent of the service. This was the only guidance provided by the “store manager”, Emily
I was especially disappointed with Emily’s conduct. She was unprofessional, dismissive, and shockingly rude. Her approach to customer interaction showed a clear lack of basic communication and service skills.
The final product reflected the lack of care—cheap materials and overall poor quality. To make matters worse, I reached out during a time of personal loss, needing a last-minute shirt order for a funeral and burial. Rather than offering any form of support or empathy, the experience only added more stress to an already painful situation.
It seems this shop continues to operate solely due to the lack of local competition, not because of any real quality or professionalism. I would not recommend this business under any circumstance—especially not for time-sensitive or emotionally significant needs. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I’m actively advising my colleagues who travel to the Rio Grande Valley to avoid V&M Print Shop entirely. If anyone has other recommendations for prints please...
