Becher Meats — Local services in West Allis

This is an absolute treasure of a butcher shop. I found Becher Meats when work in the local Tour of America’s Dairyland bike race as they were directly on the course.

This place is a must go. Totally spotless (could probably eat off the floor), wide variety, prices are great and the freshness of everything is unbeatable.

I tried the A-5 Wagyu beef for the first time from here and it was definitely an experience. Melt in your mouth perfection and a taste like you’ve never had before.

Besides the Wagyu, I got multiple variety of jerky, smoked salmon, bbq sauce, beef sticks, brats, and their breakfast sausage. The jerky and beef sticks are the best I’ve had and cannot wait to have the rest of what we purchased. My dogs also love the liver treats that are sold there.

100% will be back again and would recommend anyone to check...

This was my first time at this establishment with my husband (he’s here weekly) it’s recommended by a few close friends. Unfortunately upon entering I immediately was given eye rolls and glares by the young lady behind the counter. I believe first impressions are very important and it was a huge let down that I didn’t even feel comfortable enough asking questions about the cuts of meat I was picking.
