It reminds me of my childhood when I was in 4-H and showed animals. Plus the cooking and sewing. The vendors here are very diverse so the person planning did a really good job with that. I loved watching the mutton rodeo last night with the little kids trying to ride the sheep. Also a band last night. And before they start the festivities you are asked to stand for the national anthem and remain standing for prayer. I love my home...

Made a few visits this year. I visited the ISU Conservation Station and vendors Friday evening, did a complete walk through Saturday morning and came back for the fireworks Saturday night. Due to the excessive heat this year, many animal exhibits were empty and some events were canceled. Wish they would bring back the amusement rides, that would bring more people...
