China House — Restaurant in West Burlington

Saw this restaurant prior to taking my son to a movie today. Thought it would be great to try and bring home for dinner. I ordered a broccoli beef entree, chicken lo mein and a chicken teriyaki (no veggies).

The food (even after an hour long drive home) was absolutely delicious! The flavor was amazing! When I crave Chinese food, this is the flavor I’m wanting!

Service was great and I truly look forward to going back! We have been looking for good Chinese food since moving to IA from AZ...

Not a happy customer. The staff is not real friendly. Portions are small and prices are pretty high. After all a 9.00 Chinese meal should make u full. My friends plates were just small. Most disappointed moment.... when I saw my pot stickers come out of a bag marked commercially "pot stickers" like Walmart type frozen food. And I paid 5.00 for them. This mall is not doing good these stores and restaurants struggle but you have to have quality memorable food and services to bring...

I don't want to even give 1 star but it won't let me post without a star. This is a terrible restaurant. I ordered teriyaki chicken with fried rice. It cost $1 more for fried rice. No problem. The rice was literally white rice with soy sauce on it. We asked if that was fried rice? Yep. The teriyaki chicken was vinegar flavored boiled chicken in a nasty sauce. $10 wasted on lunch and a drink. I left my plate in the table. Didn't bother asking for money back. I will never eat...
