I was looking for a certain item and this store was at the top of it. I wanted the Little Nightmare comics, but they told me that the author actually put all of the comics and made a hard back book with it, and they could order it for me. They then called to check in with me through the week to let me know it hadn't come in( just out of a courtesy)and then called me to let me know when it arrived. It was not expensive at all. This was such a good experience for me and my family. The shop is amazing and has collectibles, comics, records, etc. If you love a certain type of fandom, then you will more than likely find something on it here. They have a big Funko Pop collection as well. What was even more enjoyable is the esthetic and vibe of this place. Picture a 1980s record shop... the cool music pumping through the air, the little twists, and turns through the tight rows with everything you love all around you. It is definitely a vibe you want, and for the younger generation that hasn't experienced a place like this, then it's a vibe they never knew they needed. I wish we had more shops like this. It was a reminder of how actually great stores were before everything became high-tech. It is more eclectic and laid back and cool. I found this store from a google search while in Columbia. The selection of horror movies was fantastic, as well as the comics and Funko pops, but I don’t like feeling ripped off. 99% of their USED dvds were selling for $10, which was more than a new copy sells for from Best Buy or Amazon. A NEW Blu-ray version of a title I almost bought here was $1 more than the used dvd on Best Buy’s website.

Maybe they don’t know what each title is worth and don’t price accordingly? I’m not sure, but after buying the 2 used dvds, I probably won’t return. I made it known to the cashier that I could get 3 of the movies cheaper new from Best Buy than I could from their store. Their response was “oh man, that’s a good deal!”

No sir.. it’s not just a “good deal,” you’re just ripping people off with certain movies. Be mindful when you shop here. Check pricing online before buying. Their items are overpriced and because the dvd cases are empty until you checkout, you can’t even check the discs before buying to make sure they...

I’ll be fair to say I don’t know the entire situation.. but what I did witness infuriated me! Regardless of the situation the man or self proclaimed owner was antagonizing a customer. Maybe the customer was a pain… idk but even when he was being complicit the owner kept talking and mouthing off antagonizing the man. He kept asking for information that was already given to him and wanted to go back and forth for the last word. I come in from Augusta… never again! I walked in joyful and walked out pissed. I initially thought the customer was in the wrong but after hearing him say multiple times can you complete the transaction or give me my money back and hearing the owner keep saying “you keep arguing with me” I realized he’s not trying to solve the issue, he wants to be in the right… so instead of putting a lid on it and doing what’s needed to resolve the issue he focused more on stating his case.
