In brief, if you are vegan or vegetarian, or if you just would like to have good customer service that admits their mistakes, be careful with patronizing this business. My husband who has been vegetarian for over 20 years and who is particular about his diet, visited this establishment and ordered a seafood dog for me, 2 vegan hotdogs and a veggie chili dog for himself. We did not notice that we were given beef franks in the vegan order until he got home. I returned to the restaurant (20+ minutes away) with the two beef hotdogs that were supposed to be vegan. Because at the time he was out of vegan franks, the owner assured me that he would "make it right" the next day when my husband returned. However, the next day when my husband went by, not only did the restaurant owner not keep his word on "making it right" but he also implied that we were lying about his employee's mistake by not bringing back our entire order for his inspection. Logically, I only returned with the portion of the order that was incorrect. Why he did not make this argument of needing to view the entire order at the time of me returning with the two beef hot dogs Ido not know. The first time I called to see if they were open they didn’t answer and he called me back. He said dang everybody wants a hot dog today and proceeded to tell me they were closed. Second time me and some friends went we didn’t get greeted, they didn’t have anything that was displayed on their menu, the food took awhile to come out and when it didn’t it wasn’t that great. Today I went and again we weren’t greeted, we were awkwardly waiting on a receipt that he chose to text us, the food came out and the hot dog was completely different from the first time we went. We ordered two drinks only got one and he proceeds to say he didn’t charge us after we paid $32. I was charged $2.00 more per hot dog than the prices posted by the order window without telling me beforehand. (I think the guy was hoping I would not notice/or could not do simple math.) When I asked about the dollar discrepancy, he told me prices had gone up and he was now using larger and higher quality hot dogs. (They are not - the hot dogs are slightly small in size than average and made with chicken or turkey). I then asked for napkins for my to-go order as the chili was dripping outside of the container, and he went to search for some.
