Polish Nail Zone — Local services in West Covina

I wanted to love this place! My first set was amazing 👏🏼 and the volcano pedicure was amazing! I went in today for a gel x fill. I wanted gel chrome (gel with that mica topping) The gal destroyed my fill, I had gel polish and chrome mica all over the outer edges and the base color was peeking through on what looked like brush stroke scratches..... I went back to get them fixed within a few minutes of walking out (the natural light showed all the flaws) the fixed set is better I guess but still sloppy. I chose this place because of it's high reviews but it's no different than other basic nail shops. I won't be returning, back to searching for a new salon..... Update* 2 nails have now broken......

I made an appointment 2 days ago for full set and pedicure and the owner after getting my full set tells me, he does not have time for a pedicure now cause they are busy. The nail lady took soooo damn long on my nails. Not my fault!! I was the 3rd person here in the Morning today, I got here before he arrived, got here half an hour early at 9:30, my appt was at 10am. After telling him I made an appt and Was upset about it, he finally did it but 30 min later. People who came after me with same service (full set/pedi) left before me. I was here 3 hrs!!! I’m really disappointed with the service I received at this nail salon. I showed them a clear photo of the design I wanted—balloon numbers “30” with clean, shiny details—but what I ended up with looked rushed and messy. The lines were uneven, and the balloons didn’t look like balloons at all. I paid full price for something that doesn’t even come close to what I asked for.
