This park has been here since I was a kid at Hollingsworth (down the hill) and not much has changed, except the merry-go-round has been removed, when it should've been replaced at the very least with something, rather than just a blank space. The other downside is the wood chips that seem to be a thorn, so-to-speak (pun not intended) in everyone's feet. I was noticing the kids who wore sandals avoided the play structure after suffering the consequences of a trip down the slide. My 8 year old included. The up side is there are plenty of covered tables if you're planning a picnic. I remember the restrooms as a kid and during my recent trip to this park, I saw the structure that the bathrooms were housed in, so I'm guessing they're still functional but didn't have the need to find out first hand. There are lots of benches right next to the play structures for parents to relax as they keep an eye on their kids. Most of them are in the shade too.
