I love Salvadoran food. My husband is Salvadoran. My son wanted to try this place. The pupusas taste just like my sisters in law. My favorite was the calabasa one and loroco with cheese. They are delicious!!! The pastelitos were made fresh and are delicious as well. The fried yuca was perfect and flavorful and super crunchy. You can taste the quality of the oil and ingredients. The chicharon was perfect and I loved the tomato sauce that came with it. The people were super sweet and friendly. I live in Claremont but I will be coming back often. Plenty of parking. As we previously had them for school activities that was great, school staff requested for the restaurant to come back and make their fabulous Pupusas for school staff and teachers as a Winter Gift sponsorship from PTA 2024.
Made variety Pupusas on the school campus and Aqua Fresca for staff and teachers and kept them hot for Rowland Elementary Staff and Teachers with some vegetarians and some wanted variety of it.

Read moreI went the opening day, Pupusas were so good with a lot of beans and cheese… I decided to go 3 days after cause they were so good, SURPRISE they were extremely slim with way less food than the opening day, definitely tricky business out here cause they just added a lot of ingredients on Day 1 so people were gonna have such a good impression of the place, definitely not coming back unless the owner does something about it, PUPUSAS COSTS $5 EACH, superb overpriced for a slim pupusa that its thickness looks like a taco tortilla… 0 stars for this...
