Edit: This is one of my favorite food places now, you can't beat the price and quality! But the service definitely varies every time depending on who's working.

Original: The food is amazing for a very reasonable price, but I think the service differs depending on who's working. The first time I came with my Latina friend and the staff person also appeared to be Latina (she was speaking Spanish to some other customers while we were there); she noticeably treated my friend preferentially and was short with me when I asked questions about the menu and how to order since it was my first time, which ended up making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Then when I tried to pay, my payment failed the first time so she told me to insert my card again, but she "helped" by tapping on the screen for me and selecting the highest tip for herself without giving me a choice. I told her that wasn't the tip option I wanted to select but she gave me a dirty look and told me I couldn't go back, so I just had to pay the amount she selected or risk making a big fuss. Then she didn't offer me a receipt, which I think is just bad service considering she overcharged me, but maybe it's because she didn't want me to find out her name (since the server name is usually printed on your receipt). When our food came out, my friend's meal was neatly packaged so that she could take it to go, but my poke bowl didn't have a lid on it even though I was also taking it to go, and I had to ask for one, which she also treated like I was being an inconvenience. It was a really off-putting experience.

My second time here, I came back with a different friend and ordered the exact same thing because the food quality was great, it was just the service that sucked, so I figured I'd give the place a second chance. Thankfully my second time was a lot better. The server (Michelle, based on my receipt) was very sweet and I didn't experience any problems. So I will probably keep eating here in the future, but I would not like to encounter the rude staff person from my...

This is definitely a hidden 💎 gem ,I have been living close by the area for over 15 yrs ,I only have been coming here for over a year now and I normally don't write a review but I goggle the address for a friend and realized as much as I recommend this place that it's been long overdue for a very deserved review, I don't come as much as I want to even though price is affordable I couldn't afford it due to pandemic and times are hard , if I have a choice to eat there everyday I would lol especially the kids the whole fam loves it , their staff is very friendly and family oriented, portion size is very generous, extra sauce is recommended upon request , most importantly what I like about this place is I feel welcome and the fish is fresh and we all know when it comes to raw fish we want it nice and fresh and not for it to Taste bad or slimey, one of my favorite is oceans deep bowl and it also comes with a side of soup and my husbands favorite is the salmon sisig bao hands down with a splash of like perfect combination. They have daily specials everyday as well. Oh btw I get the bowl with half rice half salad 🥗 with extra sauce I put all the spicy ones and the house sauce love love love .I'm a fat girl it's a big bowl and I eat it all up too lol.....

Local family-owned customizable poke place. There are two sizes (3 scoop and 5 scoop), with a variety of fish types. The prices are very fair for the amount of food that they give. You can order on the phone or through GrubHub. There were also a couple of tables for outdoor seating. I tried the spicy salmon and spicy tuna, which was a good level of spice. You can get white rice, brown rice, tortilla chips, or mixed greens (or go half-half) as a base, with an unlimited number of toppings. There are a few other hot cooked food options as well as macaron ice cream sandwiches and drinks.

My mom really loved her salmon skin sisig bowl. Coincidentally, it came with a free soda (ordered it on a Friday at lunch), which was a pleasant surprise. The service was very friendly and quick; they are welcoming and there was a decent stream of people coming in and out for food. Credit cards are accepted. Parking is easy, as it’s located in the grocery store complex.

Overall, this place had generous portions, decent fish, and very friendly employees -...

Literally had to stop mid-bowl to write a positive review for this shop. Owners told me they used to be fish importers, which explains the high quality of their ingredients. Super fresh, VERY GOOD RICE, just the right amount of ingredients, not too much sauce, perfect everything. Best poke I’ve had in the SGV. More people need to know about this place. They do need to overhaul their drink menu though…typical powdered milk teas and basic Hawaiian sodas are doing their excellent food a disservice.
