Failed to transfer everything from old computer to new one. Lost many programs and never received the help to correct. My old drive has now probably been wiped and my operation is worst off then before I used these guys.

I was also told my hard drive wouldn’t be wiped for 90 days…… was hoping maybe my old drive was there and I could use it to have my old system back. Why wasn’t I given that in the first place !? I should have the ability to keep my own syatem?!? Again very disappointing when I can not do what i did before this upgrade. It’s going to cost me a few thousand dollars a year from this mistake. This is the problem with an outsource, you don’t care as one would if it was their own.

Lastly when this was done I asked to see in your shop to make sure everything was transferred ok. I was told everything was transfer ok not needing to see it at shop and if anything was wrong I could call in for virtual help. I got home found out not everything did transfer and when I called for help I was forgotten a few time before I got a call saying it is what it is. Again it was my fault for using you guys. Wish I could have my old system back and never did the upgrade.

I specifically asked to make sure this program was transfer successfully, wouldn’t you think it would be appropriate to check the computer to make sure the software moved correctly?! This is the problem with speedy turn around, you miss easy mistakes! Then if you concentrated and notice the issue it would have been handled. This place is a scam! First they act like a modular PC is a upgrade when any desktop PC is modular. They charge way to much for Thier computers. Thier "holiday special" laptop is a waste of money you only get a rtx 3050 in a 1700 dollar laptop that is a huge scam also on Thier holiday special desktop they charge +300 dollars for a windows 11 pro key! You can easily get windows 11 pro just off of Microsoft for 200 bucks. To summarize it they use older cheap parts in Thier biggest computers and charge way to much. You are better off going to best buy than getting something from these scammers Edit: in order to reply to shrock. First of all most gaming laptops these days have upgradable memory and storage. Second of all a gaming laptop has a dedicated GPU. I can get a gaming laptop with 32 gigs a 4060 and a 14900HX WITH upgradable internals for 1500 bucks. You can get them cheaper than that but they don't have as much ram. Also every laptop comes with all these things expect maybe a graphics card but that's because those come in gaming laptops more often. I purchased one of the Holiday Special desktop computers from Schrock about a month ago. Great product and professional service. I had been looking for a replacement of my old pc for about six months from a number of computer providers. Chris at the University Ave location in West Des Moines, IA was respectful of my personal preferences, guided me through the choices and placed the order. No pressure, just sought to find the best alignment of my needs to what components to buy. The pc arrived at Schrock's shop in a couple of weeks (short time, relatively), and Chris and Sean transferred key information and settings from my old pc to the new pc. Old pc still functions fine and remains a short term backup. Chris and Sean were great about staying in communication with me during the set up to ask what choice I wanted for some information transfer. When done, I took the pc, new monitor, keyboard, mouse and power strip home and took an easy couple of days personalizing final set up (as the upgrade moved me from Windows 10 to 11). All working.
