The Regal Beagle — Restaurant in West Des Moines

Attended the soft opening last week at The Regal Beagle - staff was engaging and attentive without being 'too' attentive - much appreciated! Loved the variety of tables and seating areas combined with a lot of windows - very relaxed vibe without feeling closed in or dark while also being updated space. Big area with pool table and seating/space to hang around and talk without bugging players. Plenty of parking to south and west too. Grand opening coming the 15th and look forward to...

I love this new bar on the border of West Des Moines and Waukee! The windows on three sides, make it feel like you are outside, while still being inside this great space. Plenty of room to hang our where you please, on a couch, at a table, bar, or around the pool table. Where ever you choose you will still be able to have a conversation with your friends without the worry of too much noise. Laid back friendly. Nice place to have a drink and chat with friends. Today the guy behind the bar told me my total and I handed him cash plus a tip. He quoted me the wrong price, and could have easily pocketed the extra and said nothing. But he came back with change and said he told me wrong. It’s great to know there is still honesty out there.
