The Toasted Cone — Restaurant in West Des Moines

What an amazing experience at Toasted Cone! The staff was incredibly welcoming and encouraged me to sample flavors before deciding - what a great way to discover new favorites! I tried three delicious options and picked Espresso Oreo.

The quality of ice cream at Toasted Cone is exceptional - you can taste the premium ingredients in every scoop. Each flavor I tried had distinct, well-developed taste profiles that showed real creativity and craftsmanship. The portions are generous and the pricing is fair for the quality you receive.

Would I return? Definitely! I’m already curious about their other creative flavor combinations and can’t wait to explore more...

Came here with my kids for our first time on Monday Sep 22. We were not greeted, we were not even acknowledged with a smile or a nod. We looked at all their options and said out load we were ready and still we were ignored. There were two blond ladies and they were not busy, we were the only customers there. A dark hair male and female (presumably the owners) joined them behind the counter after a few minutes - then a customer walked in. This customer was greeted by all with smiles and a "welcome", That's when we decide to walk out. We did not feel welcomed, we will not be back. Absolutely loved my visit here! The Mango Ice Cream was rich, creamy, and bursting with fresh flavor – hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The Gulab Jamun Ice Cream was such a delightful fusion, perfectly balancing the sweetness of the classic dessert with a smooth, velvety texture.

The owners were so generous to let us try their butter cookies, and they were simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious – a real treat! I also couldn’t get enough of the butterscotch pastries; soft, fluffy, and full of that perfect caramel crunch.
