Media Rooms Inc — Local services in West Goshen Township

We are an antique auction house in Chester County, PA in business for almost 35 years. We hired Media Rooms to replace existing video equipment (screen and projector) with an updated commercial HDTV and to supplement our existing audio system. The equipment suggested by Media Rooms was feature-rich but user-friendly.

In the spring, we began consulting with local AV consultants, and felt that Media Rooms best understood our industry as they'd worked with another auction house in Philadelphia. From our first meeting in May until final installation in August the interaction with Media Rooms was easy, professional, and informative.

A few days before the agreed-upon installation date, Media Rooms came to our auction house to take more precise measurements to aid in the process. The space available for installation was not cookie-cutter by any means. The display screen needed to be corner-angled above our auctioneer's podium. In addition, there is minimal floor space and a set of stairs to contend with. Media Rooms made the process look easy and constructed a "custom scaffolding" in order to have the platform they needed to complete the project. After the scaffolding, custom-made angled brackets were installed for the purpose of attaching the wall mount bracket. Finally, the display screen, conferencing accessories, and audio were connected.

Throughout the process Media Rooms impressed us with their preparation work and attention to detail. In addition, they were responsive to our needs and inquiries. Wow. What a difference a year makes. Last year I had Media Rooms Inc work on my home theater, and I was really impressed with the work they did. I'm continually grinning ear to ear whenever I watch a movie! Joe was a superb installer, even coming over on a weekend around the holidays to finish things up. He was really informative, and patient with all my questions. He also provided a very thorough demo on everything that was done. I'm quite the stickler and of course the quality of the image and sound was great, but I was also extremely pleased with his cable management as well! I'm all set with a 7.1 system (speakers are Paradigm and quite excellent!), and ready for Atmos when I upgrade my receiver. While they are a soup to nuts type shop, they were also very willing to work with my existing receiver and projector that I brought with me from my old house. I'll 100% use them when I upgrade everything to Atmos and 4k in the future. An absolutely top notch job from start to finish, and also great to work with from a communication perspective too! It's not easy to find a place to plan AND BUILD a home theater in full. We only found Media Rooms after being less-than-satisfied with the plans and costs from "the big guys". Their office wasn't impressive, but Rob was! As the son of an architect I can tell a design pro when I see them. My father (who passed several years ago) would have immediately had a connection. And I'm sure he would have recommended Media Rooms after a single conversation.

My instincts were exactly right. Media Rooms designed and built a beautiful room that works just as planned. Friends and relatives were blown away when they saw it. The seats (through Valencia) were in doubt, since the price was so much lower than others. But Bob said he had done business with them before and they made a quality product. And he was right. Again. Beautiful, comfortable, fit into a limited space, and fit going down the stairs to the basement. And my wife was pleasantly shocked at how it all turned out.
