JAWS Barbershop — Local services in West Hartford

Amazing place! Our son is significantly disabled and does not like having his head/ears touched, especially by someone standing behind him. We waited 7 years before having his first haircut because we were so worried about how he would react.

Mr. Anthony was so kind and patient, our boy stayed calm and happy throughout the process. In the few instances he did squirm, Mr. Anthony adjusted nicely and provided the time needed for our son to recover before continuing.

After 7 years of stress about this event, it could not have gone more smoothly or enjoyably. We will definitely be back and will tell as many people as we can to come...

All I can say is 5 stars without a doubt. It was my first time bringing my son for a cut and Ant went above and beyond. The shop vibe was awesome and Ant made my son feel at home which made me feel very comfortable. Ant did an amazing job on my son's cut and when I told him I haven't been at a barbershop for myself in a while he took the time to hook my beard up. That gesture spoke volumes and shows the kind of person Ant is. If you're looking for a place that's clean, professional and just a good vibe this the place you need to go....

Called and asked if I needed an appointment and wanted to get my son's haircut. Was told to come on down! Got there and walked in and there were 3 other people in front of me and was looked at crazy when I said I had called. Was then given an attitude and told the rest of the day was booked out. I said that's why I called. Lmao. That would have been nice to know before I parked half a mile away, got me and my 4 year old and handicapped infant son out of the car and hoofed it over there! Customer service is lacking to...
