I visited for an event but to my surprise there was so much more in store! I'll start with parking. There is a very small lot in the back, which was full. I did street parking. Upon entering the building, i noticed that I had a nice amount of space to dine out front. There were two areas. When I entered, the smell of love and happiness welcomed my nose, lol! I was greeted and showed to my sear. There was also plenty of space to dine inside. Very clean, i love the design. I greeted with a house Margarita with a splash of Blue Curacao, IT WAS THE BOMB! Nikki & Scott (I believe the owners) told us the history and about the food they serve. They described their mission as "Bridging the gap between American and Mexicano. They mentioned that almost all of their food and drinks are  organic (believe me, you can taste it). They talked a lot about supporting local businesses and collaborating with other businesses. They welcomed us to return for ladies night and other events that they have weekly. Scott mentioned that they served a pretty badazz guacamole. I took him up on his word, and I was not disappointed. I don't know how to explain how yummy it was. The avocado was not mashed but merely sliced. I was a bit concerned, but after the 1st bite, all my troubles melted away. I wonder if they do it that way to prevent it from turning brown. Either way, it was delicious, and I got some to go as well, OKAY lol. The burger and fries were yummy and seasoned well. Nikki and Scott came around numerous times, making sure everything was great. They even made some special orders even though our group was large. Last but not least, we had dessert! Chocolate Lava Cake and Fried Oreos. The presentation did them no justice. I am not a fan of fried oreos and assure you I didn't want to stop eating them, lol. The lava cake was decadent, but the oreos stole the show. Scott also spoke highly of their Birria Tacos, but I couldn't eat another bite. The menu is filled with happiness! I will definitely be back for that, Jazz Night and/or Ladies Night (I think Mondays). I was very impressed with everything. Even the bathroom, lol. Thanks so much for having us.

12-5-24 On A Positive Note: A pleasant first visit. The passion fruit and mango frozen margarita.😋 The carne asada fries were hot and tasty. My friend received salt vs sugar with her coffee.👀 The situation was rectified. The Verdict: The happy hour menu is great. M- Th, 3-6 p.m. and Fri-Sat, 9 p.m. - 12 a.m. A Daily Diner 😊 12-17-24 Second visit was enjoyable- delicious food and drink. I ordered pechuga a la parilla and a frozen mango margarita. 12-19-24 Third visit was the BEST. My now usual, frozen mango margarita. 😋 I cleaned my barrita tacos plate. I shared a friend’s fried icecream. It tasted like it was rolled in coconut flakes. It was surprisingly firm for fried icecream. Nonetheless, it was absolutely delicious. The manager shared that they will start serving brunch, effective January 4, 2025. I’m looking forward to it. A Daily Diner😋 12-22-24 Yes, I went back again. Stopped on the way to a comedy show. I wanted my mom to try this establishment while she was in town. Once again, I enjoyed my meal- I tried the salmon today. However, the server had a bit of an attitude, although she lightened up a bit towards the end. While I will definitely return, I will not allow to ever serve me again. 1-15-25 Haven’t been here in about 3 weeks. To my disappointment, the size of the happy hour drink has shrunk. Also, there was a new bartender. She was pleasant, despite a failed attempt to convince me nothing had changed. I explained to her that I’d been coming here pretty regularly in December 2024. While the food, drink and service are good. I’m going to give this place a break:I’m disappointed with the change. I ordered the Barria tacos again (which cost $22 today, yet they were $18 on December 19, 2024.) I didn’t pay this trip, so no receipt but note the difference in the drink. A Daily Diner🙃

Came here to eat after visiting the Rose Garden that was only a grass garden during this time of year. Although the restaurant was 3/4 empty they were only accepting reservations, no walk-ins (it was Mother’s Day). On the way out I noticed the bar and asked to sit there and after brief conversation between employees, I was allowed. I ordered a virgin mango margarita. It tasted like a weak soda with a hint of mango flavoring, not a fan. The Mexican street corn from the appetizer menu was ABSOLUTELY delicious. However, both my mother and I ordered seafood from their Main menu. Both meals were lacking flavor and the rice was clumpy and inedible in my opinion. The pros: They had a one man mariachi band come by and sing songs to guests. He sang three little birds… fitting I guess. My mother loves that song so it actually was nice to hear. And they gave her a rose for being a mother. Not me though for being an aunt.

I really tried to keep in mind that this was opening weekend but from beginning to end my experience was all around not great. When we first walked into the restaurant, it took a solid 5+ minutes before we were greeted. The main hostess was on the phone, so this was not her fault and completely understandable, however, there were at least 6 employees also standing at the counter behind her. All of them looked at us and then continued on with their conversations. There was even one employee sitting on the bench across from the hostess station, scrolling his phone. The individual scrolling his phone was also walking around the restaurant eating at another point during my visit. Even if none of the individuals at the counter were able to seat us, a simple greeting and “we will be with you in just a moment” would’ve sufficed. When we were seated, we were given regular menus only no drink menu. The waiter only asked if we wanted to try one of the $5 margaritas or paloma’s. We each ordered one margarita and they tasted like mixer only. However, I sort of expected this to happen since they were on a $5 special, so I ordered an app and my meal and hoped that would be better. We got nachos for our appetizer and that was the best part of the whole meal but even that was a stretch as the bottom of the nacho plate was greasy and soupy. Not to mention, we were never given appetizer plates either. We both ordered enchiladas for our meals which were truly horrible. The sauce on top of both of the enchiladas we ordered had a metallic taste to them. The meals both advertised that they came with rice and refried beans. They did not come with refried beans it looked like they dumped a can of undrained black beans on the plate. Halfway through our meal a gentleman came over to ask if we wanted water, which was fine, however he was wearing bracelets that said “i heart boobies”. While I personally am not offended by this, I am almost certain other clientele may not feel the same. I am all for wearing what you want and expressing yourself but that may not be the most workplace appropriate choice. Our waiter was fine. We did not ask for it, but he comped a meal and offered a free dessert but I honestly just could not wait to leave, so we did not order dessert. I was really excited to try this new place but I don’t unfortunately think i’d give this place a second shot especially...
