When I tell you that this is by far the most authentic birria spot I have ever been to! Flavors are absolutely delicious! MOUTH WATERING!!!! I can literally drink the consume that's how amazing it is.... and seriously I have ordered extra consume to wash down my tacos after I'm finished several times! Judge me idc.. lol it's that good!!!! It's not greasy.. it's extremely flavorful. I have gone to several Birria spots that keep the fat on their meat.. but not this place! The tacos are stuffed with Birria meat! You literally get your moneys worth.. you'd want to order again and again. They offer a 3 count and a 4 count of the Birria tacos. Please get the 4 count.. you'll be sad if you don't! The red spicy hot sauce is THE BEST! It's spicy and just smacks the mouth like an explosion of even more flavors when it's paired with the tacos. The people that work here are super friendly, they remember their regulars and are really quick with getting orders out. At a point in time I was eating here 5x out of the week. I've tried to slow down a bit but I'm still here at least 3x a week at minimum. I can't say enough about this place.. If you needed a sign.. this was it!! My mouth is watering just writing this status and I just finished my order of...

This restaurant fills what was a giant void for fresh, delicious tacos in WeHa. Every dish I've tried at its new Park Rd, WeHa and New Britain locations has been bursting with flavor, prepared with fresh, tasty ingredients.
A Mexican-American friend who recommended the place said they make the tortillas on the premises daily. To me, that says a lot.
The tacos are all amazing. My favorite dish, however, is chicken enchiladas with salsa verde,. The green sauce is one of the best sauces I have ever tasted (I had to restrain myself from lapping it off the plate.)
The newly redone premises are basic, but clean and pleasant (also not what's shown on the website).
Grab your hat and go now! (Open 10 am to 10 pm).
P.S. The only odd thing here is a television in the dining room that's tuned to cable news or lurid crime shows. I would understand telenovelas or something Mexican, but I can't figure out why the...
Read moreThis was a cute place to eat outside - there was plenty of outdoor seating and several vegetarian options. I will say the food was mid. It wasn’t out of this world (salt & lime restaurant is better next door) and the portions were small. The price wasn’t terrible but it was comparable for the small amount of food we got. You also have to pay for chips and salsa ($8!!!) but we got chips and guac for $12 as an appy - I don't think the portion was $12 worth but whatever. They had a small menu and you would think the food would be better. My fiancée ordered the steak burrito which came with nothing on the side and I got the birria tacos which also came with nothing on the side. The service was also not great. We were seated at a table with dishes that weren’t cleaned and the server made little effort when taking our orders and didn’t check on us for water refills, etc. It was fine, but I...
