My Dad and I came here to fill in the time between our long drive and an Islanders game in Bridgeport. When we arrived they were closed for a private party but allowed us to bowl for around half an hour, enough for one game for $15 which isn’t bad at all. The two guys running the spot, a young guy and an older guy both seem to know the sport and the town pretty well and set us up for a great first time doing Duckpin Bowling. I also liked the atmosphere of the place, it made me feel like I was stepping back in time to the 70s with its rustic feel and a smell of cigarettes. We reserved a two hour slot but only had one hour to bowl and then 45 minutes to eat which we had no choice but to eat even if the kids didn’t want to eat. Tried to make the children get bowling shoes even though we were told the kids could bowl in their socks.
