We have been shopping at this store since it opened about 40 years ago. Mostly we have been satisfied. But last week we went in on a Saturday which we rarely do and were very annoyed about the way we were treated. The cashier who, I am sure was new, was seated with her back to us apparently hoping we would go to another check stand. When she finally decided to help us she would throw our items down the counter. Some of them were probably damaged. We left the store and realized that we were overcharged for some corn chex that were clearly priced at 5 for $10. We were charged $4.49 for each box. My wife went back into the store and asked for the Manager, Bruce, and was informed by the same cashier that he was busy. When she pushed them further a second cashier called Bruce and he finally came to the customer service station and the same snotty cashier informed her that he was still busy. Bruce was not a lot of help either He questioned the validity of her claim about the overcharge. He finally sent a cashier with my wife to the cereal aisle, still acting like we were trying to cheat the store. After seeing the large sign over the boxes that gave the price for them, they finally gave her the refund for the difference. Things don't seem to go the same on weekends...
Read moreI am not one to go about my way to post my experiences at stores online but I feel this needed to be said. I have been coming here for quite a few years because my family lives by there but I've recently been coming a lot and noticed they run out of stuff that I shop for and it's not restocked for a few weeks. I've also been using the scooters to get around in the store and I was told by an employee that I shouldn't be using it and it's only used for older people or handicaps... I have muscle memory loss on my legs and I had my walker inside the basket so obviously you can see i needed it for a reason and just the other night at 9:00pm I came in and tried looking for a scooter, I asked an employee but he told me they put them all away, he didn't bother to grab one for me or even ask me if I needed it. I am absolutely sure they just couldnt wait to close the store down when you guys do not close until 10:00pm. I am just upset at the employee's with their lack of costumer service skills like they don't care for their job or...
Read moreReams has really gone down hill. I avoid this store as much as possible but sometimes I end up there because it's quicker. I avoid this store because the guy manager is a jerk to the employees and usually the teenagers they employ have zero social skills. They let them swear while they are checking customers out at the check stands, they also are not friendly at all! I've even had an experience where the checker was texting on their phone in the middle of scanning my items. Today was different. I dreaded going in but I figured that I could just be faster if I went to reams. My checker was Wendy and I gotta tell you, she was the nicest employee at reams. The nicest employee I've seen at reams in probably the last 5 years. She was swamped but she still was nice, friendly and acted like she cared. If I ever go back, it would be in hopes that they hired more people like Wendy - more people who care. Thanks Wendy for being nice even though you were having a...
