Dollar General — Local services in West Long Branch

Theres a male at this store, that i think is a manager, the way he spoke it sounded like he was. My jaw dropped when he said what he said. So I'm at the register trying to pay with my card. Its not working because i forgot at the time that i had ordered a new one. So of course I tried it a few times. A line has formed because the manager isnt helping the cashier instead hes yelling at the cashier for being patient with me i eventually paid with cash but my god. That guy was so mean. He said if the card doesn't work it doesn't work. Move on to the next customer. Embarrassed me embarrassed the cashier. Dont know if hes still there but but hes a jerk. Any other person that works there is so nice and helpful and hes just so up tight and bossy and not helpful at all. As a customer service vetren man i would have never spoken like the to a cashier and a customer infront of other customers and like he didnt just say it he raised his voice a bit too. I visit this Dollar General frequently and have noticed a sudden decline. Managers seem to come and go at this location. The employees I do see are trying to do the best they can with the little resources they are given. To place one person at the register and one person to do the stocking on his or her own is ludicrous, to me. The place is messy, unorganized and seriously needs a big clean up job. I don't want to harp on that too much, but I feel like one of the franchise representatives needs to visit! No store should look this. If you could post zero stars i would! I was just there. It is 97 degrees outside and somehow it is HOTTER in the dollar general. They do not have ac on. The cashier said the owner knows but hasnt come by. That is a disgrace. I ws stjere for 5 minutes and was DRIPPING woth sweat. The workers are forced to work in SUFFOCATING HEAT because the owner is neglecting it. Unbelievable. There also is an EXTREME FOUL SMELL when you walk in. Smells like animal feces which is probably a dead animal stuck in there somewhere that died from the heat. I hope the health department comes by and puts this woman out of business. I will NEVER step foot...
