My husband and I have done business with Hakes twice and both times we were extremely pleased. We just bought another lift chair from them and the customer service could not have been better. There was a lot to choose from also and more we could have looked at in a catalogue that they would have ordered for us. No high pressure sales pitch just good old fashioned waiting on a customer, listening to what we wanted, and then showing us what they had that would meet our needs. Good people! They are the most unassuming furniture store in Central PA. There is nothing flashy about them however when you walk in the store you are blown away by what they have. The quality of furniture far surpasses any large store. If they dont have it on the floor they can have it built and shipped to you. Wonderful family owned store, not a big chain. Personalized service, staff actually remembers working with you! A great selection of bedroom furniture, living room and dining room! Anything you need is there or they will do what they can to get it for you. Prices are a little higher but the quality of the furniture is to notch! Me.
