I'm just trying to find a nice place to go and pick up RC cars without having to go online. Would like to go in the store pick something out and take it straight home without waiting for it to come to your door. I haven't been there at all but I'm not sure if I really actually want to go. I've been reading all of the reviews and it sounds like it's not a very friendly place to go. One review after another review says about really bad customer service. They mention how they ignore you and they seem irritated. It sounds like the people that you have working there shouldn't be there. I'm going to save the hassle and just order online. I might go and check it out for myself not sure yet. I'd like to think it's the customer's attitude and not the employees. Because I know how some people can be. Good customer service goes a long way in deciding if you're going to go back to that store or not. And it would be a shame for people to not want to go there just because the employees are rude and or not trained right. I will change and update my review once I check the store out for myself. It might be a very good experience for me who knows. I hope so because I heard this place has everything you need. If the people that are working at this place read this just ask people if they need help and that's really all you need to do and just be nice. Just by doing that you won't have bad one...

WHAT A DISAPPOINTING HEARTBREAKING SHAME AND I FEEL WHITE ROSE HOBBIES DECEIVED ME FOR THE BENEFIT OF THEIR FAVORED CUSTOMERS. I BELIEVE I FIRST ORDERED THIS SD45X SOUTHERN PACIFIC LOCOMOTIVE IN FEBRUARY 3, 2024. THEY FIRST SAID THAT THEY WERE EXPECTING TO RECEIVE THE LOCOMOTIVE IN JUNE OR JULY. ON 10-4-24 THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT READ: “Thanks for pre-ordering the ScaleTrains Museum Quality 70094 HO Scale EMD SD45X Southern Pacific 9501! Once the ScaleTrains Museum Quality 70094 HO Scale EMD SD45X Southern Pacific 9501 is ready to purchase, we will send you a payment link to our store to complete your purchase.” IT IS NOW OCTOBER, 24, 2024 AND STILL NOTHING. I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE FROM THE LAST TWO EMAILS I SENT THEM WHEN I ASKED THEM WHEN WILL I GET MY ENGINE. IT NOW APPEARS THEY WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH ME AND ARE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND! I NOW KNOW BETTER NEVER TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AS THEM SEEM TO BE FICKLE TOWARDS THEIR PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS! AND I STRONGLY ADVICE YOU TO DO THE SAME! I have been going to hobby shops since I was allowed to peddle my bicycle on the street. (I will be retiring in about 2 years) Most hobby shops around YORK have been going out of business. BUT there is a new location for a previously existing hobby shop that is GROWING! (they're in the old barn near the intersection of rt. 30 and rt. 116--I think it was called the Mega-Barn) I was looking for piano wire. THEY HAD IT! They seem to be trying to have EVERYTHING hobby related. They were originally a train shop, but have been feeling the pull of customer asking for various products. IF you remember being inspired by just walking into a hobby shop, (you know who you are) you MUST visit this shop! I am also thrilled that the shop is in THE WEST END of York! I did NOT receive any compensation for this endorsement. But you hobby people know what it's like when you can't find or get what you want or need. Mail order is slow. You want SEE it.
