Shop 'n Save — Local services in West Mifflin

I am very disappointed with the Shop and Save bakery at this location this year. I have always been happy with their products in the past. I placed an order at the bakery two weeks before Christmas. When I went to pick up the order on 12/24 I was handed two bags of buns (that were not what I ordered) along with the rest of my order. I told the male employee that this was not correct and that I ordered French hard rolls and not buns. He just pointed to the sticker on the bag that claimed they were French hard rolls - they were sandwich buns. Even at my advanced age I know the difference - rolls are long and buns are round. I have been ordering these for years and never had this problem before. Also the sell by date on the bags was 12/25. So I switched the two bags for what was on the shelf in the store with a sell by date of 12/26. Lo and behold when I opened them to slice the buns today (12/25) , they felt stale already. Now I have to serve these to my guests. I am reconsidering whether to trust them...

UPDATED: So I will give them credit for keeping the shelves stocked, compared to the lame Century 3 Shop n Safe which looks like a store in the former communist Soviet Union. That being said, some of the staff stocking the shelves, like the bigger heavier dude, need to be a little more flexible. You can't block both sides of a tiny aisle and expect people not to buy dairy goods and other items. You will have to move yourself or your cart. Overall though, still the same issues. Way to small and crowded, not enough checkouts open so you wait forever and it further congests traffic at the front of the store.

The red headed woman with glasses on register one tonight is probably one of the rudest people I have ever met. I walked up and said hello how are you no answer. She was visually annoyed that I held my 12 packs of pop up for her to scan. Proceeded to roll her eyes when I said sorry and didn’t even tell me my total. Said thank you when she gave me my receipt and no words. Nothing. Like I understand everyone has bad days but if you are customer facing fake it a little bit. Completely miserable will probably never...
