Unfortunately, I can only give Junior Driving School one star based on my recent experience. I paid $200 for two one-hour lessons, and both sessions felt unproductive and disappointing. My instructor, MERCEDES (Dominican), lacked professionalism and structure in her teaching. Rather than providing clear, step-by-step guidance,
she mostly drove around with minimal explanation or feedback. It often felt like she didn’t want to be there almost as if I was inconveniencing her rather than paying for a service. What concerned me most was her frequent phone use during lessons TEXTING or TALKING while I was behind the wheel. This was incredibly distracting and made it difficult to focus or feel safe. As a student driver, I expected full attention and guidance, neither of which I received.
Additionally, valuable driving time was wasted picking up other students during my paid lesson. On top of that, she arrived late on more than one occasion, cutting further into the instruction time. After completing both sessions, I don’t feel any more prepared for my state road test. I honestly regret spending the $200, as the experience left me feeling insecure and unsupported.
If you're serious about learning to drive in a focused, professional environment, I strongly suggest...

It's all thanks to the instructors in this school, whom are very patient & always give you advice on how to fix a mistake.
I took most of my classes with a Cuban man named Ismael, & he made me practice parrallel parking repeatedly so I could feel very comfortable doing it without having to be told what to do.
I took a class with a Dominican lady who was also very nice, and made me feel calm on the steering wheel. She made me do parrallel parking & took me to a few places where the speed limit was around 40 to 60 mph so I could get some exposure too.
On the day of the test (today), I also had a young Bolivian man named Ismael who was patient & kind too. He did a review with another guy & I. He helped us by giving us advice to fix minor mistakes we made while driving before the test!
Overall, great experience from this school & recommend...
