I lived in Westerville, Ohio from 1990 to 2016, when I reluctantly moved away. I miss so much about Central Ohio - and Gold Star Jewelers is one of those lovely, family-owned small businesses that comes to mind. My husband & I made beautiful purchases (some custom), had precious jewelry and watches repaired and had watch batteries replaced. I loved just stopping in to say 'hi' to owners Boris and Zena. Since I moved to Florida, I needed my wedding ring and and anniversary ring repaired (and a diamond replaced). I asked around and received a quote - and ended up shocked and missing Gold Star Jewelers tremendously - for pricing and trustworthiness. A few weeks later, my mom went to pick up her ring, and one of them was missing. They spent an hour blaming mom that it was her fault, and she already picked it up. Mom called me in tears from the parking lot. A few minutes later, they came out and admitted they had found it.

For what it's worth, she loved both rings, but no way...
