The place has a welcoming atmosphere and the decor is well set up. They have several treats set up on the display and they all look delicious. Most of the drinks I have purchased have been tasty. I do recommend trying out the cinnamon roll as it is delicious and not too sweet, but it is $7 which is overpriced for a cinnamon roll.
They appear to be slightly more in price than the other similar coffee shops in the area such as Shibam Coffee and Qamaria Yemeni.
However if you were to get any drinks under the tea category, be careful. They may overcharge you than what it says on the menu. For example, I tried getting an iced Adeni tea. They were going to charge me $5.99 when on the menu display, it says $4.50/$5.00 for the Adeni tea. When I tried telling them, they wouldnât correct it to the correct price and said itâs because I wanted iced. That doesnât make sense to me but then I asked for it to be hot and it was still the same price! So I ended up getting a coffee based drink that I ended up not liking so that at least I can get the advertised price. So beware, they do charge you the coffee based prices on the tea drinks despite the menu saying otherwise and they wonât correct it. Because the treats appear to be overpriced and that they wouldnât charge you the correct price for the Tea option are the reasons why I...

Read moreThis coffee shop is a true gem! The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and so welcoming. I tried the chocolate baklava (so yummy) and a Yemeni drink, which was an experience in itself.
Iâm not very familiar with Yemeni drinks, so I initially ordered the Qishr because I like cinnamon and ginger. The employee kindly suggested I try the Malaki instead, since it had a similar flavor profile but with more caffeine. He explained the differences patiently, treated me like a guest in his home, and made me feel comfortable trying something new.
When my drink came in a to-go cup, another employee warned me it was very hotâsuch a thoughtful detail. The first employee even checked in later, offering to replace the drink if I didnât enjoy it (amazing service!). Once it cooled, I tried it and loved it so much that I ordered another. He remembered my preference, even suggesting a little extra ginger the second time (without me ever mentioning ginger is my favorite!). He also brought the second drink in a mug so it would cool faster, telling me he learned from my first experience.
Itâs the little touches like this that make a place stand out. Delicious food, delish drinks, and above all, phenomenal service. Canât wait...
