Westfield District Courthouse — Local services in Westfield

People get released in the courthouse from police custody, and from jail after spending the night there. What happens is; people don't have their belongings, no wallet, no phone, no money,......absolutely nothing. Then you are told, you can go. There's no phone inside the building that you can use, no computer you can use to reach out to someone, nobody is willing to help you, nobody wants to talk to you,......I can't believe it! The court is supposed to serve the citizens. Nobody at Westfield District Courthouse ever thought about having some sort of way for people to contact family and friends after the judge releases them???!!! Nobody gives a ride to anybody, can't call a taxi without phone or money. In my case, I had to walk for 6 hours to get home. For sure the most backwards and unsophisticated...

Really bad experiences here, heresay in court, someone set someone up cops were involved, money got wasted, all to find out one of the people got arrested thank God, but it caused more severe emotional distress to me and my family.
