I had the fried chicken breast and have had it several times before just not in the past year and ok that it was smaller portion but I literally couldn't eat more then half of 1 because it was way to salty and the only way I was able to get that down was with gravy and a big bite of mashed potatoes at the same time! My other half had the turkey special and that it was special, old and dry not even the gravy could help it and stuffing was just bland. However the rolls were hot and awesome and the corn bread was to die for and warm as well. The service was great til near the end when I told our server how salty and inedible the chicken and turkey was and got a huh and a shrug. Wasn't lookin for anything free and really just wanted to make them aware for the next person. I usaully love coming here but it'll be quit a while before I return. Hopefully everything will be back to...

We came here because my daughter who attends McDaniel wanted fried chicken. Seeing the other reviews we said sounds good. I'll give you the good first. The chicken was good, hot and fresh. Their fries are good but unseasoned. But the bad was really bad. My wife got the crab cake platter (this is Maryland). She had to pick out shell from every bite. It had a strong fishy smell and tasted mostly like pepper. She are 3/4 of one and couldn't finsh it. Tasted bad. I got a cheese burger. Ordered it medium and it came out grey throughout. It tasted mostly of burned bits from the grill, yet had no visible signs of grill marks. I had to pull off the white lettuce and the green tomatoes to take a second bite. That one wasn't much better. So their fried chicken and fried are good. Their burgers and crab cakes...

very nostalgic when we make up there from Baltimore because my whole childhood which was quite sometime ago with me being a kid but my parents and I would come up especially in the fall for lots of times breakfast but lunch and dinner good here too and love the little shop with the farm fresh fruits and vegetables and of course the great and my favorite desserts of all kind that are delicious my opinion the best is the egg custard pie and those oatmeal raisin cookies!!! plus idk why most places don't anymore but great and genuine customer service here...great place with great...
