Dollar General — Local services in Westmoreland

SHOPPER BEWARE! I often go to this location a few times a week to pick up a few things I need outside of my usual shopping trips to Gallatin. On 3 separate occasions the prices on the shelves did not match the price that items were ringing up at the counter. When I brought it to a managers attention they simply change the price for me and move on. No apology or promise to remedy the situation by changing the shelf price. Called corporate, again no apology just a simple: we will watch the prices. In this economy with the high inflation, does DG want to be known for scamming people out of money. For those on a fixed income who do the majority of their shopping at DG to save money, those price discrepancies add up! If the price is more then fine but do not advertise one price on the shelf and then charge me more at the register. Do better DG! And shoppers, please compare prices! Because they are...

When I went to this location a few days ago, luckily they had everything I was needing in stock. Which that is usually rare, something I need to get there is almost always out of stock so I was pleased to at least be able to get everything all at once in just one trip. The store was fairly clean, somewhat disorganized but I was there a little later in the evening. The restroom was clean with tissue paper and paper towels in stock. The customer service was simply non-existent, none of the employees said a word, offered to help find an item and there was absolutely no conversing with customers whatsoever as they checked them out at the registers.
