Main Street Liquors — Local services in Wharton

My husband just stopped in to pick up a 6 pack. We live locally and have come here before, both times not a great experience. But today, an elderly African American woman was first in line with her lottery and my husband behind her with his 6 pack. The guy behind the counter was already ignoring her when my husband walked up and he says he'll ring him up. Being polite, my husband said it was fine to take car of her first because she was there first. The counter guys says no, she can wait, to which my husband insisted. The guy, looking disgusted and irritated, says, "We make more money on beer than lottery so I don't really care, you can go somewhere else." She was definitely offended and did leave the store. How incredibly rude. We will never be going back there again and will encourage everyone we know not...
