I am an over the road truck driver with an eld system in my truck and company name on the side. I was out of drive hours and legally could not drive anymore for the day. I came to denver travel america, paid for a shower, paid for the over priced items in the store because they know they can capitalize on the fact that truckers are stuck for a ten hour break all to be told, I could not park here because I dont have a cdl. Hold up, there are many truck drivers out here that dont have a cdl, examples: box truck, hot shots, and some cargo vans, no cdl required but we must still follow DOT laws and after spending my money here and forgot to mention fueling here as well, I am told I have to leave.. This is absolutely preposterous.. so denver travel america is making truck drivers break the law.. wonder how a cop would accept that explanation on why I am driving when I am not suppose to be.. This is the very first travel america I have ever heard such nonsense. Never have had a problem at any other all across america.. wow Denver, wont ever stay in this city again.. and I will never spend my money at this travel america again. Which for this stop was 324.19 isnt that enough money made in order for me to stay legal and get my ten hours of required rest? Also very dirty showers, mine was #3 located inside the laundry area.. the staff are rude and more worried about talking among themselves, you ask a question and they have no reasonable answer other then thats just our policy. Washer leaking all over floor outside my shower door. What is America coming to? I bet if I had to bring your product to you though then it wouldnt be a problem for me to be on your property.. I am extremely outraged over this.. I dont want an I sorry for your experience and thank you for beinging it to our attention crap either because clearly you know about it as I have read several reviews about the same type of things I have put on here for months upon months and this location is still doing the same things. Stop saying your sorry about what someone has to go through and actually make change. Also you location would have made even more money from me in the morning if I would have been allowed to stay because I needed some services done as well as breakfast and anything else I would have needed.. I guess its your loss and another gas stations gain for such ignorance and foul behaviors. Denver TA I will never be back as well as I have marked it on the Google map and transfered this review on there as well as i will let the other 27 drivers that work with my company to never come here since non cdl truck drivers are not welcomed.. you know word of mouth is better than any...
Read moreAbsolutely disgraceful policy from a place that calls itself Travel Centers of America. If you're not in a semi-truck, you're not welcome to rest here. I was recently kicked off the property in my minivan, along with several other car and van travelers, simply because we weren't driving big rigs. Apparently, if you're in a four-wheeled vehicle—be it a car, SUV, or van—you only get two hours. That's it. Two hours to rest, eat, use the bathroom, fuel up, and be gone. So, what the hell is the point of calling yourself a "travel center" when you discriminate against most travelers? Not everyone on the road is in a semi-truck, and many of us are road-tripping, homeless, or just trying to survive in this economy while living out of our vehicles. You’d think the overpriced garbage they sell inside would at least buy you the right to safely sleep a few hours. But no—spend your money, get kicked out anyway.
I’ve driven semi-truck before, and I know drivers need sleep—but so does everyone. The truth is, fatigue-related crashes kill over 600 people a year in the U.S., and according to the NHTSA, drowsy driving causes at least 91,000 crashes annually. And yet places like TA are part of the problem. They act like only truckers deserve a safe place to rest, while the rest of us—often more vulnerable—get forced back onto the road sleep-deprived, risking our lives and the lives of others. It's not just bad policy, it's immoral. There’s a nationwide shortage of safe overnight parking, and these massive, well-lit lots are sitting empty at night, doing nothing but helping corporate America flex its power over exhausted drivers.
You deserve this one-star review, TA Denver. You’re not a travel center. You’re a trucker-exclusive profit trap that pretends to care about people on the road while making it more dangerous for...

Pulled in at 1pm for an average tire change on an inside drive and they got us in the bay within 30min. 20min later the friendly tech came back with some bad news, he broke a wheel stud. "It happens" I replied, because being a mechanic myself, I know it does.
My wife and I decided to head to the restaurant next door for some lunch to let them sort things out and 2 hours later when we came back, the truck was untouched. "Waiting on parts" was the answer I got when I asked, which they couldn't find. The tech was nowhere to be found and when I asked why they hadn't at least got the wheel off and changed the tire (the hard part) while they waited on parts all I got was shoulder shrugs. "TA Policy"
Another hour later they reported they had to change ALL the wheel studs now, again per TA policy and I'm starting to feel like they're making a giant problem out of a small one. Nobody wants to feel taken advantage of in these situations.
430pm they still can't find the parts, when another service writer asked if they had checked upstairs. LOW AND BEHOLD there they were. In stock and on the shelf!
At 6pm, almost 4 and a half hours later, work began on the truck to remove the studs, the inner wheel and change the tire. All of this could have been some while they "searched" for parts..
830pm, 7 hours after we got in a bay, we're finally back on the road. $1100 later to change a tire and put on a RECAP.
You got me once TA, but never again. I hope it was worth it, because you'll never see another penny of my money, and we fuel here 2-3 times a week.
Everyone's time is worth money, unless you're a professional driver under a load, than I guess you're just a...
