I’ve been to this place a bunch of times because it’s next to a great ice cream shop. Several times, a woman with blonde hair working there was just lovely and inviting and kind to me and my kid.

Today, I went in here with my son and the woman working, with a gray bob haircut, was super rude to my toddler. She had a sour expression as soon as she laid eyes on him and, crossing her arms, kept commenting on what he was doing or touching with things like “that’s for grown ups” (about sunglasses?). He was gentle and no Xo gifts were harmed, and I was supervising.

It’s my job to guide my child and he is a great kid that is learning how to “be” in the world. It was awful watching her judge and comment on what he was doing while I was right there. We bought some cards and a bath ball (he wanted to buy grandma a present) and left and I won’t go back.

It’s so disappointing to come across such a lack of grace and patience...

Absolutely one of my favorite shops on Tennyson! There's something for everyone. If I go there to buy gifts, I always end up buying for myself too.. It's impossible not to. If you're not feeling quite up to going out in public yet, their website is still open, and you can pick up your order. It's perfect!

I wanted to make sure to support this business in this crazy time, but also buy something I actually really needed, and XO had exactly what I was looking for! Oven mitts! I've had the same ones since I moved out of my parents house 21 years ago lol..I was way over due for an upgrade. Posted below is my "before and after pic" haha... The cute cat ones are obviously the ones from XO. Also grabbed some super cute stickers for my car. Can't say enough good things about this shop, and...

I stopped in here with my mother days ago trying to buy jewelry...I leave a one star review because we were treated so rudely and the lady working was incredibly unfriendly. Then, the manager responded with a horribly rude comment accusing me of being somebody else who was in her store selling their art (which she deleted, bad publicity for local artists I suppose) This is EXTREMELY unprofessional and I can't believe someone would treat their own page this way. What what a nasty way to run a business,...
